Nothing as powerful and humbling as listening to someone with the lived experience. So much to learn. So many pebbles in their shoes. And it all adds up each day. Yet, they are still so gracious. Thank you @susieb16 at #ECO2023 for #ECORME

Good questions! Also let us remember that Eating Disorder Carries it’s own bias and stigma - which are harmful. How does a child or teenager process that? We need to be careful about labeling especially if diagnostic criteria is unclear.
What the heck is OSFED? Or UFED? Have we medicalized #food and #EatingBehaviors enough? Or too much? Maybe the real problem is a failure to meet people where they are and help them find their way better physical and mental #health.

Outstanding presentation @theNASEM by @StacyEWright876, bringing a lived experience into view, while recognizing that no one's experience is adequate for generalizations. Well done!
Congratulations to Brendan Fraser on winning BEST ACTOR and Adrien Morot, Judy Chin, and AnneMarie Bradley on winning BEST MAKEUP AND HAIRSTYLING at the Academy Awards 🏆 #Oscars95
@ConscienHealth@juliaoftoronto Thank you Ted. You captured it succinctly. A must read-The AAP guideline is about treating the whole child- not a number. It is about hearing their concerns, supporting the child and family - giving them agency through shared decision making - on how to achieve their goals.
