4 year old child was brought at GIMS from Baluchistan by her father with complain of hole in the heart and deaf and dumb too. Fortunately GIMS doctors team performed both operation such as cochlear implant and heart surgery. Alhamdullalah now she is fine.

@DrRahimBuxBhat2 @paqsjims In such complex cases presenting late, it's Life Vs Limb. Hip disarticulation is among best options at such stage to save the patient's life and prevent recurrence of his cancer. Patient is cancer-free and discharged home waiting for his prosthesis.

@DrRahimBuxBhat2 @paqsjims Huge cancer in thigh and pelvis of a 20 years old boy for last 5 years. Operated twice outside.
Despite 3 surgeries at GIMS (1st surgery continous 20 hours), tumor removal and vessels reconstruction involving sarcoma, vascular and plastic surgeons, had to disarticulate his hip.

Home COVID Treatment in Resource-Limited Countries

Ibuprofen 400mg 3 times a day for 3-5 days (acetaminophen or paracetamol is fine too)

Oxymetazoline nasal spray twice a day for 3 days (for runny nose)

Steam inhalation 2-3 times a day with Vicks Vaporub

Lots of sleep
