$42 to book an @Uber_Support in advance. $17 to do the same trip without booking. I guess they have to pay for @jackwhitehall somehow 😂

Remember Bury FC?

In 2019 they made worldwide news becoming the first football club in 27 years to be kicked out of the English Football League.

But after 4 years, they are back.

Here’s the story of what happened…

@ajarrodkimber @AmericanAir Unfortunate way too common these days. Had my flight out of Melbourne two weeks ago delayed by 6 hours (causing me to miss a key commitment in the UK). No apology from @Qantas, no compensation, not even a meal voucher during the delay.

All cool in the Pinewood @OfficialBuryAFC
Foods ready soon …

[Darragh O'Donovan @DOD54321]

@nickmetcalfeuk @Qantas Unfortunately not.

[Darragh O'Donovan @DOD54321]

Wow. Any wonder nobody wants to fly @Qantas any more? On the way to Melbourne airport and get a text advising of a 6 hour delay of my Singapore to London flight. No alternative, no compensation, no vouchers, no customer service!

[Darragh O'Donovan @DOD54321]

@buryfcofficial I’m going to say nah. AFC and happy to stay that way.

Spot on. I attended a few games this week and genuinely felt like an extra in someone else’s social media campaign. Awful, together with the downside of a TV camera being waved in your face every other over.

@RicFinlay Hi Ric. I got Ricky Ponting to sign my copy of Tigers Roar the cricket Tasmania 150th anniversary book yesterday. He said ‘I’ve never see this. I must get a copy’. Maybe you can help?
