Finally saw the @Netflix film “Don’t Look Up,” a fictional tale of a Nation distracted by pop-culture and divided on whether to heed dire warnings of scientists.
Everything I know about news-cycles, talk shows, social media, & politics tells me the film was instead a documentary
@helencrossley I have a number of friends who (previously) didn't understand my love of F1 yet tried & end enjoyed DTS, and are now "in the fold".
It's accessible and entertaining.
Nooooooo!!!!
Sabine was one of the best drivers ever, not best female drivers or best female drivers on the ring, but just plain one of the absolute greats. She will be truly missed by those of us who love fast cars and highly skilled drivers.

The @FIA analysis of @RGrosjean BAH accident is concluded. He hit barrier at 192 km/h & 67g - middle rail failed - so chassis passed through - his left foot was trapped and he left the boot behind. Not surprisingly it features in the new Netflix #DriveToSurvive3#F1
Interesting fact I learnt from someone at the @fia last night :
They introduced a new race suit this year which is heavier but protects the driver from fire for 20 seconds, whereas the gloves still only do 10 seconds, like the previous suits. Another lucky break for @RGrosjean
@Susie_Wolff@williamsf1 If he’s ready for a new challenge on a new horizon, perhaps TOTO should become the new team principal at @williamsf1 Renew! Rebuild!
Watch what happened when @CarlosSainz55 & @LandoNorris joined forces with @CocaColaCo and Amazon to help deliver some #CokeZeroSugar to the citizens of Austin, Texas. 🇺🇸 📦

I read @StephTaitWrites’ book The View from Rock Bottom this weekend & it is both instructive & encouraging. I especially loved her illuminating chapter on interdependence & will be thinking about these sentences a lot. (Also, you know I love that shoutout to @fileta at the end!)
So many great quotes in this article. Here’s one:
“Decades of research have shown that watching the news and, to a lesser extent, reading the newspaper are associated with increased racial stereotyping, fear of crime, and the desire to punish criminals.” https://t.co/Jc2w6WBJ7T
