@MicroTolo @Noahpinion Okay, yes, politicians are often untrustworthy. But it's also possible to read this as him taking responsibility and potentially saving medical professionals who are telling him about the prospects from accountability.
There should be some kind of a check on cynicism.

@MicroTolo @Noahpinion Thanks! But note that there is no evidence of the drugs being inefficacious. Granted, the study is flawed and doesn't establish its efficacy either. So this study is only tangential to what we were talking about.

Also if it isn't promising why do the doctors keep using it on patients?
