God exists outside of time that we are bound to. Prayers now can be answered by God through graces bestowed in our past. God is not bound by linear time.

As Catholic's we can appeal to Apostolic authority and conclude that this is in fact heretical.

Without that authority, you can only speculate based on your interpretation of scripture. That is the whole problem with Protestantism

@IndianaBrunner When Catholics talk about "worship" we use the Protestant definition of worship. In reality "worship" means "worthship" or treating someone according to their worth.

By treating people well ,we worship them. That does not mean we worship them the same as God.
