If you read a science fiction book where the population reduced its leaf clutter at the cost of 8 straight hours of ear-numbing noise every single day for half the year you’d think they were the dumbest people of all time
@lovefingers You have to think about headroom and the flow of volume, use your ears and brain, can't just redline it like so many scrubs do on a pioneer mixer or controller
what makes a rotary special is mixing in FULL RANGE, no EQ/isolator ‘per channel’. you mix different, musically not surgically, and the sweet spots are integral. too many options per channel can keep you from trusting the records. that’s why urei/bozak are best for learning IMO.
