Honestly, Tyla’s fans are making it harder for people to support and love her with the way they keep dragging other artists into unnecessary drama. Imagine Tyla’s fans going after Britney Spears, calling her names, and even asking if she’s still alive, and then expecting Britney’s fans to stay quiet. Of course, they’re going to defend her, and now Britney’s fans are clapping back by calling Tyla a one-hit wonder and making comments about “Water” and everything else.
This is exactly how fan wars start, and the sad part is that Tyla is the one who will eventually have to deal with the backlash. When people start coming for Tyla in return, the same fans will turn around and say everybody is jealous of her, without acknowledging how their own behavior contributed to the situation in the first place.
You cannot provoke another fandom, disrespect their favorite artist, and then act surprised when they defend her. You cannot keep throwing stones and expect nobody to throw one back. It’s unfair to Tyla, it’s unfair to Britney Spears, and it’s unfair to people who genuinely want to enjoy and support both artists without being dragged into unnecessary hate.
You can support your fave without tearing another woman down. Some of you are creating enemies for Tyla instead of helping people love her, and that’s the irony of it all. You’re doing more damage to her image than you realize. 🤦🏽♀️

here's a free advice : if u don't like certain idols/artists don't talk about them. i don't think it's that hard to ignore the people or things that u don't like and focus on your own favs instead.
The result that determines my career will be out soon. 😭😭😭
If I pass my pfp will remain the same buttt if not, I'll change my pfp and take a break from Twtter. 😔😭😭
Sincerely, I struggled not to respond because I’ve respected you from a distance. But your post reeks of a painful disconnect from the reality of ordinary Nigerians.
I’m almost 50, with a master’s degree, certifications and years of experience, yet I struggle to find stable work, pay bills and raise ₦1 million for accommodation after receiving a quit notice. Petrol has risen from ₦257 to ₦1,500, rent from ₦300,000 to ₦1 million, and three square meals have become a struggle. How much more suffering must Nigerians endure before their anger makes sense to you? They say the one who has never tasted bitter leaf will swear it's juice is sweet.
You say we shouldn’t reject Tinubu without knowing whether the alternative is a saint. Fair enough, but "must a man keep drinking poison because he cannot guarantee the purity of water elsewhere?" Would you tell a woman to endure repeated stabbings from her husband simply because she cannot vouch for the next man?
Living abroad may give you perspective, but it cannot replicate the daily suffocation of living here. You can sympathise with the man carrying a burden but you cannot dictate its weight when you’re not carrying it. The proverb is plain: he who has never carried the load does not know the weight of the rope.
"Not every angry Nigerian is blind; some are simply tired of being suffocated and then lectured on how to breathe." Before you preach to us about whom not to hate, try understanding what has given our anger a home.
Thank you
