My daughter returned to AP without her Books/laptops etc.
She has to access questions online and write answers in papers then to upload in pdf. All these processes
need to b completed within 2hrs.
For this to succeed uninterrupted high speed Internet wud b required, but at this point of time it's opposite here even for normal surfing. She is in Acute Mental Stress. There might b many other from our state facing same fate.
Kindly help n see for solution that students are not downgraded in their cgpa due internet glitches n that there's no extremity occurs to the already stressed/depressed students @PMOIndia@CMO_Odisha@PemaKhanduBJP@KirenRijiju
It is extremely unfair to conduct exams during the Covid19 pandemic.
UGC must hear the voice of the students and academics. Exams should be cancelled and students promoted on basis of past performance.
#SpeakUpForStudents
It's important that UGC categorically declares that students should be promoted for the next academic year & relieve the students of their mental stress, hardships and uncertainties: Shri @pradyutbordoloi#SpeakUpForStudents
If the IITs can promote students without examinations, why not other universities? In these circumstances, going ahead with examinations is unfair, unequal and, in many cases, unjust: Dr. @ShashiTharoor#SpeakUpForStudents
Online open book exam= No exam, i.e No affect in performance, but students have to b under continued mental stress & uncertainty.
There would also be students who are in remote places of the country where there's No Internet connectivity and No reading materials
#cancelfinalyearexam#ugc_cancel_exam#PMOfIndia#MHRD#MHA Students from NE especially from rural/remotely located areas would become victim, reasons:-
1. Just returned home who are or would b in containment zone, Inter-Distt/State movement is restricted
2. Low/No Internet
connectivity
3. No regular power supply
4. Couldn't take Laptop/necessary gadgets home or not able to afford buy new ones
5. Couldn't bring study materials/ books with them while returning to home
Govt may kindly take into account these factors into account
There would be students:-
In containment zone, already infected n under treatment, in the area/other state where there's inter-Distt/State movement restricted, facing low/No Internet connectivity or No gadgets. Govt should re-think #PMOfIndia#ugc_cancel_exam#MHRD
