Getting an ID CARD in Kenya should be as simple as:

• Wake up in the morning

• Carry your birth certificate & parent/guardian's ID

• Go to the local sub-chief

• Fill application forms

• Go home with a waiting card

• Go back after 21 days

• Pick your ID CARD

Why is it very easy to be registered as a voter at a local shopping centre but difficult to get an ID CARD?

How much do you pay to become a registered voter?

No Kenyan should pay a cent to be documented as a Kenyan.

BREAKING: According to Business Daily, Kenya is preparing climate-related financing worth KSh 129.2 billion.

📄 FACTS
• Two planned tranches of about KSh 64.6 billion each.
• The first is expected to begin in September 2026 as a sustainability-linked syndicated loan.
• The second, expected in 2027/28, could be a sustainability-linked bond.
• The World Bank is expected to provide a guarantee and credit enhancement, with additional support from the OPEC Fund.

We cannot keep borrowing our way out of debt.
Before taking another KSh 129.2 billion, the government should first show Kenyans where it has cut wasteful spending, reduced the cost of running government, and improved accountability.

Borrowing more while spending remains unchecked is not a sustainable solution. It's disastrous.

🚨JUST IN: The World Bank has warned that between 1 million and 2.4 million more Kenyans could fall into poverty.

According to the Bank, the poverty rate could increase by 2 to 4.5 percentage points, partly due to the Middle East crisis and other economic pressures.

The World Bank has urged faster job creation.
