🔵 REPORT | Israel, which has a documented history of organ theft from Palestinian bodies, appears to be seeking positive publicity by staging what it hopes is the largest gathering of organ donors in one location.

Israel’s foreign minister misleadingly presented the event on X as involving 2,000 new kidney donations. News reports put the number of donors closer to 1,000.

In a statement to Haaretz, Guinness World Records said the attempt is still undergoing standard verification and has not been approved. Guinness had previously rejected submissions from Israel and the occupied territories from 2023 through December 2025, before reversing course in January following outcry from U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee, hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, and senior Israeli officials, according to posts shared publicly on X.

Speaking on Al Jazeera, Dr. Muneer Alboursh, Director General of Gaza’s Ministry of Health, said that many of the Palestinian bodies returned after the latest ceasefire in October 2025 were missing kidneys and other vital organs. He has previously stated the pattern is widespread. These findings have also been documented by Western doctors who examined the bodies, suggesting Israel’s organ theft from Palestinian bodies is ongoing.

📡 NEWS: Israel Uses Microsoft Cloud to Store Millions of Palestinian Phone Calls

A joint investigation by The Guardian, +972 Magazine, and Local Call details how Israel’s Unit 8200 is using Microsoft’s Azure cloud to run a sweeping mass surveillance program targeting Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

➤ Azure stores recordings of “a million calls an hour” — a system designed to retain everyday Palestinian phone conversations for later playback, analysis, and targeting.

➤ Israeli officers say the cloud-based system has been used to help plan lethal airstrikes and identify individuals for detention or killing. One officer described the project’s ethos: “Track everyone, all the time.”

➤ Microsoft engineers helped implement the surveillance system, housed on servers in the Netherlands and Ireland. The company denies knowing how the data was used.

➤ The system was championed by Unit 8200 commander Yossi Sariel, who personally met with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella in 2021 to begin the partnership.

➤ Microsoft has said it found “no evidence” Azure or its AI tools were used to “harm people.” But Israeli intelligence sources told The Guardian the system was widely used throughout the war on Gaza — which has killed over 60,000 people.

Unit 8200 is Israel’s military signals intelligence and cyber warfare unit. It’s part of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), under the Intelligence Corps — and is often compared to the U.S. NSA (National Security Agency). Many Israeli tech workers, especially in surveillance and AI companies, are veterans of Unit 8200.
