Just had election leaflet from George Freeman. The word conservative does not occur at all. There is quite a lot of blue ink on it but that could mean he supports Ipswich Town and that won’t go down very well in mid Norfolk either.
Chris Packham: What about the ordinary people of Dubai & the global south
Luke Johnson(Entrepreneur): Where's the evidence that any of that is connected to carbon emissions
CP: It doesn't come from Toby Young's daily septic.. it comes from something called science

LORDS DEFY WILL OF THE PEOPLE OVER RWANDA BILL is todays Daily Express front page
If like me you think that’s absolute boll**** RT these actual FACTS widely
For the avoidance of doubt I'm opposed to the Norwich western link road. The annual revenue budget for Natural England for the whole of England is less than the cost of a few miles of road across irreplaceable habitat. Priorities? @duncancbaker
Jeremy Hunt announces £3.4bn plan to modernise NHS's I.T. system.
So, £3.4 billion is about to be spent, not one doctor, nurse or bed added. No pay disputes settled.
Out there is an I.T. firm rubbing their hands.
We are deeply disheartened by the government's recent decision to divert funds from the now-cancelled HS2 rail link into other road projects. We see this as a clear indication that our leaders are choosing short-term, unsustainable options over long-lasting, green transport solutions.
The cost of Norwich Western Link Road has already doubled from the original estimate, casting a major shadow over its economic viability. Despite this government may decide to pump more money into a project with dubious return on investment, showing a worrying lack of foresight and disregard for the long-term consequences.
Our beloved Norfolk countryside is under threat from this proposed road. It would tear through the heart of our landscape, causing irreversible harm to the environment and wildlife habitats, including those of the protected barbastelle bats.
Yet, despite the environmental outcry, proponents of the project continue to spread the unfounded belief that it will bring economic growth and alleviate congestion. The project at best can only be viewed as a £400m village bypass benefiting only a handful of people.
We are profoundly frustrated by these developments. We believe that this funding could be much better used to tackle urgent infrastructure issues, such as easing the rail bottleneck at Trowse or investing in sustainable public transport alternatives.
This decision to back the Norwich Western Link, despite its skyrocketing costs, limited economic benefits, and significant environmental challenges, underscores the daunting challenge we face in our campaign for sustainable and environmentally friendly development.

Under explicit pressure from Rishi Sunak, judges have closed the door on legal challenges to PPE procurement.
They’ve said, remarkably, that there is no public interest in how public money gets spent.
But we think there is.

You make a very interesting point. Could it be that by just attempting to “write off” the theft of ~ £ 14 billion by his VIP associates , the former banker Mr Sunak has now directly rendered himself liable to prosecution for the very serious crime of Misconduct in Public Office ? His actions would seem to fall within the CPS definitions of the offence. Please repost if you believe there must necessarily now be a full investigation of Mr Sunak .
I just signed @RiverActionUK's petition calling on political leaders to rescue our rivers and freshwaters to health for nature and people by 2030. Will you join me and add your name? #RescueBritainsRivers https://t.co/9EgJuLSjAk via @38degrees
Wild Justice is just like the RSPB really...
... except we don't own any land, haven't got any permanent staff and haven't raised even £1m since we sprang into existence in 2018 let alone £120m per annum.
But we do speak truth to power ... and we don't apologise for that.
