Former Kent birder, moved to Norfolk in 2013 and now spend most of my time doing entomology. Norfolk Hoverfly recorder. Now on Bluesky @tim-hodge.bsky.social
The inglorious 12th tomorrow. Left is a driven grouse moor. A completely devastated landscape. On the right an alternative vision. ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ ๐ณ
I've set up a Bluesky account with a view to closing my X account in due course due to the role of X in recent events. My Bluesky handle is in my bio, feel free to follow me as you wish.
This plant has self-sown in my garden in Horsey. The plant apps haven't been helpful but it might be an Astilbe although I'm not sure the leaves are right. Any thoughts on botany twitter? @Jo_the_botanist

I've done very little garden wildlife recording over the past couple of years but recent records of Cetti's Warbler and Small Copper butterfly takes the garden list to 2,762 species.
@Norwichbirder @VannaBartlett1 The first Norfolk record I can trace was at New Buckenham Common in May 2022, found by David White. Apologies for the delay in replying.
