@bojang @BXC_ATM In 5 years LLMs will produce code 2^5 times better than they do today. So you'll just refactor with an LLM...

This remarkable film was shot at Alexandra Palace London, in 1898 and shows visitors enjoying the newly installed Switchback Railway, an early ancestor of the modern roller coaster.
The Switchback Railway, with its open carriages travelling over a series of rises and dips, must have seemed wonderfully thrilling to its Victorian passengers. who wern't strapped in and sat on a thin wooden bench
The footage is particularly special because it was made by British film pioneer Robert W. Paul, who had built his film studio nearby at Muswell Hill.

The context being that Trump just blamed Ukraine for the high petrol/diesel prices he's caused in the US! Bumbling Orange Moron.

[Garry Kasparov @Kasparov63]

Damn Ukraine! 😂

[Dom💧 @dom767]

@happylilchappy @maddenifico This 1000 times. Americans saying it's dumb to leave the EU just haven't thought it through. The US would *never* allow a foreign power to set their economic policy. Well... except Russia via. Trump..

Millions of years ago our antecedents had a massive sacrifice of their left hemisphere.

We lost a lot of short term memory and replaced it with Broca’s, Wernicke & the phonological loop.

But why?

So we can—talk.

Thus chimpanzees can do this—we can’t:

L’industrie de la robotique humanoïde se bat entre deux approches

Et il est extrêmement important de les connaître

1. Main à tendons (tendon-driven)

Les moteurs sont dans l'avant-bras. Des câbles tirent les doigts, comme nos tendons.

+ Doigts légers, très dextres, souplesse proche de l'humain
- Fabrication et calibration complexes. Pour réparer, il faut souvent démonter le poignet.

Exemples : Tesla Optimus V3, 1X NEO, Agibot Omnihand Pro.

Exemples : Figure 03, Unitree Dex5-1, Sharpa Wave, Robotis HX5

Aucune des deux n'a vraiment gagné

C'est la question ouverte du hardware humanoïde en 2026

EU's von der Leyen: "€10 trillion of household savings is currently sitting in bank deposits, and a significant part of European savings is invested outside our continent.

Europe must now put these savings to work for its companies, and that is the goal of the Savings and Investment Union.

We have put proposals on the table on securitisation, bank and insurance investments, the integration of our markets and their supervision.

Together, they can unlock up to €470 billion in additional investment."

Hey @google I’d like to report an error.

The lake that borders New York and Ontario is an international body of water, and it is widely agreed by the entire world, except one rogue leader, that the name of this lake is “Lake Ontario”

Grow a spine and fix it.

genuinely pathetic stuff

Look. If you don't find it fucking hilarious watching a dying 80-year-old pedophile rapist wearing 4 pounds of bronzer drawing "Lake America" over Lake Ontario like it's some kind of genius geopolitical flex, while barely able to speak, I can't help you.🇨🇦 😂😂😂

I built a little Exoplanet Viewer so you can navigate all of the known exoplanets in the galaxy, flying between different planetary systems, seeing the planets, it's quite fun! https://t.co/gDPxMdkIYM

More tests with random positions of solid and transparent spheres mapped across a cubic space. It's actually kinda pretty. #vulcan #graphics #procedural

[Dom💧 @dom767]

Playing about with alpha objects, I want a nice artistic alpha = 0.0, transparent; alpha = 1.0, solid. But then you start getting into absorption (far row), and scattering (near 2nd row), and mixing the two (nearest row), and shadows, and it all gets kinda complicated...
