If you see it elsewhere, it's probably a parasitic copycat blogger looking for attention.
@instantai But it is not correct as only 26 taken for "life" doesn't make any sense. It is calculating from a total of 66 shown on that page and not the overall actual tlds taken for "life" as shown before. It should be over 500 at least.
We just bought corgi dot com for $118k.
I remember one of the first things we did when @emily_yuan_ and I started this company (back in 2024) was getting corgi dot insure on Porkbun for $10.79.
Since then, we've grown from a small team trying to figure things out to now thousands of technology companies trusting us with their insurance needs.
Insurance is fundamentally about trust. When something goes wrong (which tends to happen in the startup world), you need to know someone has your back. That's why we exist.
A 5-letter domain is worth it for the long-term. We just made it a lot easier for you to remember us.
If you're a startup looking for insurance, you know where to find us.
corgi dot com
We spent $125,000 on one extra letter.
https://t.co/vHbAlnzsyu is now https://t.co/lLQ1boCwuk.
Over three million people have used Durable to start and grow their independent business.
It's time our domain name matched our ambitions.
We're launching something big soon to help the next 30 million grow theirs even faster.

Proud to have exclusively brokered the $70M sale of https://t.co/28uyeGTg4h, the largest domain name transaction in history — more than doubling the prior record.

Owen gets it.
I loved hearing his story, his success, and how Owen•com has propelled his brand.
In particular, I love this quote:
"Marketing is temporary. Strategy changes constantly. A domain is permanent. A premium domain sits at the top of your funnel forever."
Don’t buy another domain until you read this.
Most people don’t lose money in domains because they bought bad names.
They lose money because they sell good ones too early…
or because they never understood why they bought them in the first place.
Before you buy another domain, ask yourself 3 questions:
Why does this name need to exist?
Who will need it, not just want it?
And am I prepared to say “NO” for years if I’m right?
If you can’t answer those clearly, you’re not investing.
You’re shopping.
Domains are not lottery tickets.
They’re long-dated options on human behavior, business formation, and language itself.
That means patience isn’t optional.
It’s the entire edge.
The biggest mistake I see isn’t buying the wrong name.
It’s not knowing when not to sell.
Or worse, not having the discipline to wait.
If you’re buying because you’re bored, anxious, or chasing momentum, stop.
If you’re buying because the name fits a future that hasn’t arrived yet, and you’re willing to wait for it, proceed carefully.
Domains don’t reward activity.
They reward conviction.
Read that again.
I sold the domain https://t.co/A3kvNOa89I for $27,500 via @afternic.
I have owned this domain for over a decade.
There is just no substitute for time when it comes to finding end user buyers.
