Always kind of had a weird affinity for this combo. Goes against basically every core belief I have about what makes a good uniform. The striped version should be better but like, this speaks to me for some reason. Maybe I’m losing it!
Deshaun Watson owns a passer rating of 134.5 in the last two minutes of both halves this season. That would rank as the third highest in a season over the last 30 years, trailing only Peyton Manning in 2014 (136.3) and Aaron Rodgers in 2020 (134.6).
Full #Rams injuries from Week 6:
- WR Davante Adams - ruptured hamstring, out 6-10 weeks
- DT Kobie Turner - groin, out 4-6 weeks
- DT Poona Ford - ruptured triceps, out for season
- K Blake Grupe - torn ACL, out for season
Also: Myles Garrett isn't ready to come back and is still on IR.
I'm not sure how the rest of the film will play out, but if the 1st sack is any indication; it won't be well.
It's also about damn near as 'teach tape' as you can get on this route distro in Cover 2. Credit to RoQuan Smith and the 2nd level of this DEF for taking away the deeper, positive breaks while recovering to the cheese.
Deshaun really had no choice but to pull this down and go. But like the previous week vs Penix, the Ravens have the timeless Calais Campbell; with a wingspan so long that old boy could stand at the free throw line and slap you standing in the 1st row.

Deshaun was under siege all day by the loaded Ravens defense but once again made plays when it counted and led a 4th quarter game-winning drive for the 4th time in 5 weeks. That was AFC North football, and the Browns are atop the division after 6 weeks for the 1st time since 2014
