This is a lie. Pierre Poilievre is lying. Rent control falls under provincial jurisdiction. Doug Ford removed rent control in Ontario. Not Justin Trudeau. In Trudeau’s new budget, he’s adding measures to help renters because Conservative Premiers won’t. Poilievre doesn’t like it.
