I read somewhere that being an American right now is like riding in the backseat of a car with a drunk driver, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.
If you recognize that politics is full of liars but consistently fall for lies from your own “team,” then you are the mark, the intended target of the long con being staged by those in power.

@RepWexton Why did you vote for a 5,900+ page bill without having enough time to read it? That's irresponsible. It should be simple, don't vote for any bill if they don't give you enough time to review it.
@moneylifewax On point with #4 I don't agree doing this at the federal level. The top down approach is one size fits all and would not be good. $15 min wage might work great in places like DC/NYC, but would cripple much less prosperous parts of the country.
End qualified immunity.
End civil asset forfeiture.
End the drug war.
End overcriminalization.
End no-knock warrants.
End militarization of police.
End mandatory minimums.
