He inherited a squad that was already 14th and struggling.

Rightly or wrongly, he forced the team to play his way without a pre-season.

Players were removed with no reinforcements in Jan.

He had Onana/Bayindir in goal etc...

@UnitedStandMUFC We had Onana and Bayindir in goal for the majority of that period who are average goalkeepers at best.

Also, rightly or wrongly, he came in halfway through the season and was enforcing a new system on a team.

I hate stats that are used to beat a manager with ZERO context.

The point I am making is that he did play academy players and gave them a lot of minutes. But you guys won’t be happy unless it’s the players you want.
