Stop worrying about being judged, your friends should be happy to help, if you can't open up with them about how you feel, you need real friends, friendship is not about hanging out and killing time, it's about trusting, it's about caring, it's about improving each other's lives.
I’m faced with sets of micro-choices/decisions every day.
I now know that these are the most important decisions I’ll ever make.
Everything that is seemingly small and insignificant is exactly what is going to define the type of person I become.
Can’t overlook what compounds.
I realized I cannot keep living the way I am if I want to become the man I need to be.
I have to kill the kid.
I realized there cannot be two completely different people and one shared objective.
Someone has to give way.
Death is needed to evolve.
The easiest way to write impactful content is to write to yourself. You’re experiencing something that others are going through. Educate yourself, give yourself advice, and solve your problems by writing through them. Others will benefit.
A hack for coming up with more ideas is constantly looking for them:
- While working out
- While watching a movie
- While scrolling the timeline
- While in deep conversation
- While talking with a stranger
When you adopt the mindset of a creator, anything can become content.
Voluntary change, no matter how big, is essential for becoming future you.
The change itself isn’t what’s most important.
It’s the principle of change.
The knowing you have to be uncomfortable to change, but then actually making yourself so.
The average commentooooor has 0 reading comprehension abilities
They just exist in a perpetual hazed & clouded state of foggy self-projection
"so you're saying...?"
No i'm not.
You can't read.
I had EXACTLY 6 months to make $10k/mo from scratch when I moved out on my own at 19.
I had $16k to my name and used all of that to pay for 6 months of rent in Miami upfront.
I had started to learn sales 2 weeks before I made the move. Just had pure blind faith in myself to figure it out.
The first 4 months I was making $0-1,000/mo , just enough to pay for my food for the month.
I kept at it though, and on the 5th month I made my first $10,000 in a month.
The 6th month I made my first $20,000 in a month.
At the time during those months, I thought I was working so hard. But looking back now, the work itself wasn’t that hard.
It was the FAITH that it would work out even though I had no physical signs of it that was the hard part.
And it did work out.
So if FAITH was the main factor in this, belief in something that you cannot see yet…And having that faith eventually showed itself physically…
What does that tell you about how the world is designed and what that could mean big picture?
Kant talks about doing an action as itself a means to an end, not doing that action for an ulterior means to an end.
Essentially doing something because you believe it to be morally correct, not for your own benefit.
Wonder what would happen to society if all thought like this?
The solution to boredom is building.
Build a skill.
Build a brand.
Build your body.
Build your mind.
Build your social life.
Build anything.
It doesn't matter if you "don't know how."
That's the entire point.
You learn, act, and discover your way out of boredom.
Becoming a successful writer isn't really about "writing."
It's about:
• Thinking
• Courage
• Research
• Consistency
• Life Experience
• Mental Discipline
• Positive Self-Belief
• Time Management
• Inner Child Healing
The "words" are just a vehicle for the above.
Trying to internalize taking time out of the equation.
I need to understand and have faith in God that if I'm doing the work the results will show up in due time.
Only if I show up every day and actually do what is necessary to achieve what I want.
I fall into the trap of thinking about what other people think about me way too often.
What I found to help is pausing to remember that other people are people too.
They are scared and insecure too.
This makes it a lot easier to go into a social situation without anxiety.
I experience blessings every day.
To be able to feel God in your life is hand down the greatest, most fulfilling and peaceful feeling that a human can experience.
Far outweighing anything from this world.
It is a privilege to know Jesus.
