@memoecomm@jforjacob Because as Jacob mentioned it is clear that SP is only getting more strict and offering less control.
Better to switch early and de-risk now vs having a situation like today where Shopify fucks your CVR with no recourse.
@teachingsX I switched to this a couple weeks ago and really like it.
We launch tons of ads and cost capped ABO is kind of perfect for testing. Enough spend for testing, but not wasting spend unnecessarily if creative volume is very high.
@RobertFreundLaw Seems so arbitrary. Can easily name 5 nine figure supplements companies that do way worse and spend millions on ads per month.
Guess it's just a matter of luck if you end up on one of these regulator's radar.
This seem obvious in hindsight, but if you are running BOGOs in combination with sub offers. Include the free units with the first order only.
Lower COGS and less churn as a result of having too much.
3 campaigns (per offer)
1. ABO testing: one ad set per concept. $100 a day to start. Scale ad sets where they are. Lowest cost bidding
2. CBO scaling. Winning ad sets from ABO get duped (no post Id) as new ad sets in this CBO. Lowest cost bidding
3. Graveyard campaign: All โlosersโ from testing go in here under strict bid cap. Surprising how much spend this will get. Insures no creative youโve paid for goes to waste unnecessarily.
@IstvanicMarin If you sell WW, what countries would you test in with ABO?
Assuming your scale campaigns are broken up by country due to different CAC targets.
@jforjacob This has been my result every time too. Tested multiple different gifts and messaging as well.
Hard to believe since all PQ, Ryze, Everyday Dose, ect all have tons of useless gifts in their offer.
@conortrains I think if you are just starting out, one CBO is fine. With more experience, testing with ABO makes sense.
You get more learnings and since your hit rate should be higher, the amount lost on testing is marginal compared to the increased number of winners found.
@jordanmenard@andrewjfaris You mentioned how overlap is not an issue with your ABO camps because you have creative diversity.
Would be interested in process you take new winning angles and diversify them across as many net-new concepts as possible.
