@MrAndyMich I loved Corrie, watched for about 45 years, but then it changed. Instead of the characters and the comedy duos taking centre stage, it became all about sensationalist storylines. I made a snap decision to stop watching at the Pat Phelan fiasco and have never gone back.
@sophiefox1 I'm really disappointed in Ellie. I can't believe she caved that easily. I thought she was going to rip him a new one and then leave with her head held high.
@1mcmn@gilescoren I'm truly astounded by the number of Americans who claim to be Christian and yet support what ICE are doing, including murdering their own citizens who do not agree or immediately comply. Surely that has to be the most unchristian thing ever?
@WalshFreedom I am truly astounded at how many Americans attempt to defend these actions. First it was Renee Good and now this guy. I'm wondering at what point the MAGA supporters will say enough is enough. The irony of how many of them claim to be Christians in their bios too.
@KobeissiLetter How can he just do this without consulting anyone else? Obviously the UK government is run very differently, but Starmer can't just introduce things himself without consulting parliament.
@SquareAlbert@WEdwarda@Strandjunker That's exactly what I don't understand. Where is the leader of the Opposition, like there is in the UK? Numerous party leaders would be calling him out on his decisions and yet where are the Democrats to hold him to account?
@SoveyX Are you kidding? She can't debate. She won't answer the question, goes on the attack, doesn't let him get a word in edgeways and parrots the same old cr@p that Trump does. She has been completely brainwashed and sounds like a robot.
@thejackhopkins I don't understand where the political opposition is? Here, there is government and PM and there are other political parties and their leaders who hold the government to account with PM qstns each week. Who is the leader of the US opposition and why are they not speaking out?
@issmee56 That's the statutory minimum in the Uk -20 days plus 8 days bank holiday per annum. Pretty poor I'd say. That's what my husband has, but I know loads of people with at least a week more than that.
@KeyTryer The Santa presents arrived in a stocking/sack/pillow case at the bottom of your bed. The other gifts were from other family relatives and "mummy and daddy"
@DefiantLs I can't believe these words are being spoken by an actual woman. It sounds like the sort of thing a man might say, but a woman? She's talking about herself and all other women. Is she completely deranged?
@KEdge23 I imagine the family that I know who are about to have their 13th child (only 3 of whom are over 16) and who do not work will not agree with the statement.
