17 November 1934 | A German Jewish boy, Gert Loewenstein, was born in Aken. He emigrated to The Netherlands.

He was deported from Westerbork to #Theresienstadt ghetto on January 1944 and on 16 May 1944 deported to #Auschwitz. He was murdered after the selection in a gas chamber.

A small group of volunteers are raising funds to pay for transport, private kennels and to neuter Chase and other dogs that are at risk of euthanasia British council pounds.
We are keen to bring chase into rescue but desperately need pledges for him. He has been impounded since July and really needs out. Once he is assessed and has had time to decompress he will then need a pet free foster placement.

About chase 💬
This lovely boy was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. He is believed to be an American bulldog cross, his name is Chase & he is 1 year old, born 1/3/23.
Chase has been impounded in kennels before but sadly this time his owner failed to come & reclaim him. Chase is always clean in his kennel which is a good indicator that he is housetrained. He is a large dog & is strong on the lead so will require lead training & a capable handler. Chase is not good with other dogs & must be rehomed as the only pet. He knows basic commands such as sit & paw. Chase has such a friendly, playful temperament, he loves everybody he meets! Chase really deserves to find his loving forever home
