@wojkuli@UriGil3 💯- Every human uses technology that they don’t understand and few very smart ppl understand
1) If humanity yields the benefits from those discoveries, it’s as valuable as if a human discovered it
2) Mathematicians can verify 1000x faster if they know the solution
@gabriel1 💯- leveraging a non-Cashflow generating asset is still a rookie mistake but he is a rookie after all - but it’s far more important that he can pick the winners. And this lesson will make him a 10x better investor.
@saranormous Correct. @leopoldasch proved that he is incredible at picking stocks, the only mistake he made was using leverage, which is a mistake a lot of young people make. If he learns from that and keeps picking winners he can become one of the most iconic investors of all time.
@eladgil@leopoldasch Good timing - his picks were outstanding, if @leopoldasch adjusts his mechanics (aka no leverage) he can go down as the best investor of all times. AI has all the leverage needed for outstanding returns.
@zebulgar Correct… when you’re young and that talented leverage often seems to attractive… but if a market has 100% yoy return possibilities the absolute LAST thing you want or need is any kind of leverage…
@leopoldasch is still a genius for his picks just used the wrong mechanics.
@elonmusk@GadSaad@NobelPrize 99% of people should donate to something like the Trump accounts, Elon being one of the very few exceptions. He should donate to a non-profit with the goal of making life multiplanetary. Colonizing Space takes a lot of money.
.@Kimi_Moonshot could have very well been an American company if it wasn't for our idiotic immigration policy
The 46th and 47th administrations has both failed to solve the insanely easy immigration problem/opportunity
Wake up @potus@vp we’re in a war for the most elite talent — and we’re losing
Disgraziad! 🤌
@alanchanguk 2x seems excessive… but I never understood why startups don’t just hand out salary packages but let employees decide how much of that they want in equity. This whole salary + equity bonus dance is kind of silly…
Today, we’re announcing Runlayer has raised $30M from Felicis and Khosla Ventures to help companies go all in on AI.
Runlayer is the golden path for AI: enablement, security, and control in one platform.
So, how does it give your team the right tools for AI? 🧵
That’s not what really matters.
What actually matters is that the second-order effect of Fuse becoming a 1T company is probably an order of magnitude bigger than Revolut’s second-order effects.
Probably more…
Fuse succeeding is probably the only way to save the business model of the EU.
Mistral is currently the only EU company in the race. Ideally Europe will have 2-3 such model companies, but other than during an active war the EU governments should only use EU models. Their use cases are probably so basic that even the “worst” models far exceed their needs, and this at least gives them enough revenue to stay alive.
As an EU company you should use the best model for the job but run 5-10% of your workload through EU-developed models, even if they aren’t competitive—just to understand them in case your access to US AI gets cut off. (Run those models at some scale in a sandbox if they are too bad for production, just to learn how to run them.)
Best case for the EU: the US keeps its current status quo that non-Americans can’t use the best models (even at the labs). This would force all those European geniuses who moved to the US to return to Europe and work for European companies. But it is highly unlikely the US would be that stupid.
Other than significant unforced errors from the US or China, the EU has basically zero chance to compete in the model market.
Europe can however benefit by building key components in the AI manufacturing ecosystem and companies in the application layer.
Yeah I’ve been pushing for that forever 😅
Love the idea of having something that shows you’re a 🍿 user to the world… and that gives people something to talk about Popcorn in a conversation. For the NEO banks it was a flashy credit card that started conversations - everyone has their phones on the table. A beautiful case that stands out and starts a conversation could be the physical conversation starter in the real world for telcos…
Quite frankly I don’t get why no carrier has merch like this…
@KevinJDCS@edwardlando@theneelpopat Neel definitely has the magic stick when it comes to products people love.
Can become the next Steve Jobs, even though it’s much harder to make people fall in love with their telco than with their devices.
Would still love to see a Popcorn iPhone case 🍿
