This is a Donald Thomas appreciation post. Arguably the most underrated and unheralded Bahamian athlete of all time.

Thomas at 39 years years old is still competing at an elite level, 16 years removed from his world title win in 2007.

This year would mark his 9th world championship appearance.

Thomas would bow out of the Men's High Jump with a leap of 2.25m, just missing the qualifying mark of 2.28m.
