On Sunday morning, Squad 1 was alerted to respond as the Search Company to the 7400 Blk of 25th Ave in Chillum (Co. 34’s area) for a house fire. Units arrived to find smoke showing and a working kitchen fire. Companies completed searches and opened up to check for extension.

Two weekend fires for @HyattsvilleVFD: On Saturday evening, while filling in for Co. 14, Truck 14 went third due to the 8600 Blk of Preston St in Lanham (Co. 28’s area). Units arrived to find heavy fire from a single story house. Engine 1 was added on the working fire dispatch.
