Turnover in the I/DD workforce is costly. DSPs develop personal and meaningful relationships with the individuals they care for. Recruiting and training new staff requires time and resources, and new care workers are not an easy transition. We must support the workforce with increased funding to avoid this.

Please call your legislators to thank them and to urge them to work with Gov. Hochul to prioritize disability funding in the final state budget by including the full 4%.
