@HMRCcustomers Does the tax bill calculated at the self assessment need to be paid immediately? Or can it be taken via tax code for the year or the following year?
Thank you

Earning more than 100,000 requires self assessment. This total earning reduces personal allowance and more tax need to be paid.
Why does one need to pay extra NIC
2. Can I update professional subscription on self assessment
@HMRCcustomers Yes I reported the NHS hospitals and 1 company through the employment section of the self assessment return.
NIC figures referred to Class 4.
Thanks for your time, Steve.
@HMRCcustomers Thanks.
I find the amount for NIC ridiculously high for a gross income of £120,000. I was never requested to input the NIC paid during the year. Should I have done do?
This NIC, does it take into cognisance the amount of NIC I have already paid?
@HMRCcustomers Thank you, Dania.
This self assessment covers the tax year 2022-23 to be filed in on or before Jan 2024.
How could this have been filed before 31st of Dec 22 when the tax year in question is not yet complete.
@HMRCcustomers Under what part do u have to update professional subscription
2. I earned £121,000 (2022-23 tax year) I can now see £10,000 tax and £5000 NIC. Does that mean I have another £5000 NIC to pay apart from what I have already paid.
There are really no coincidences in life.
Needed to go out last night because migraine has rendered me a vampire.
I realized that my car just won’t start.
Tried to get battery from my neighbors but nobody was available.
Ended up booking a bolt and waited for him to get to me.
