The inaugural Uganda Manufacturers Association Technology Sector Meeting officially laid the foundation for a coordinated and representative tech industry under UMA.
Key outcomes included sector alignment to streamline engagement and election of an interim council to provide leadership.
Members were urged to remain structured, focused, and solution-oriented as the technology sector positions itself as a key enabler of industrialization and economic competitiveness.
