Then the tragedy. In late 2023, after publicly stating she would NEVER commit suicide, Janet was found dead in Sweden. Official ruling, overdose.

More than twenty years ago, I wrote a book called The Terror of Pediatric Medicine. Its original title was Cry of the Heart, and I chose it for a simple reason: I cried while writing it almost every day. I was reading accounts from parents whose children had been healthy one day and terribly sick the next. I was looking at childhood vaccination schedules, vaccine ingredients, neurological injuries, sudden deaths, autism, adverse-event reporting, pharmaceutical influence, government policy, and the almost impenetrable certainty with which pediatric medicine assured parents that what it was doing was safe. I thought the subject was terrible then. I had an idea of where it was going, but I was still shocked when the age of COVID began.

That book was about children. This one cannot be. Vaccination has escaped the pediatric office. It now stretches across the human lifespan. The infant, the schoolchild, the teenager, the pregnant woman, the middle-aged adult, and the elderly person are all increasingly drawn into a medical system built around repeated immunization.

Influenza vaccines, COVID vaccines, HPV, shingles, pneumococcal vaccines, RSV products, boosters, pregnancy vaccination, and now expanding mRNA technology have transformed vaccination from something most people once associated principally with childhood into something approaching cradle-to-grave medicine. This is why the new book cannot simply be an updated edition of The Terror of Pediatric Medicine. Too much has happened. The landscape has changed too radically. The questions have become too large.
