Went to court this week for a DV case as a witness for the victim and child. All I was asked was about the victim’s parenting. Nothing about the assault or the perpetrator (not even his parenting!) now I KNOW the system is fucked up :(

@amandadeibert Pregnant at 16. Life supposedly over according to almost everyone. Now Principal/Leader at early childhood education facility (honours teaching degree trained) while also studying Grad Cert Leadership at age 42. I did okay.
