I am absolutely delighted to have won a Marcus C. Schaub Young Investigator Award for my Oral presentation at #EMC2022! Thank you to the organising chairs for preparing a brilliant conference in the beautiful city of Prague! @PhysiologyNUIG @GalwayCMNHS @IrishResearch

[Aoife Thornton @AoifeThornton2]

Really disappointed to learn @nuigalway will not be holding virtual graduation ceremonies for PhDs in June. After 4 years of hard work, surely we should receive some acknowledgment? 🎓#conferring #phdchat

A virtual ceremony isn’t a lot to ask for...PhD graduates deserve something to mark the occasion @postgradsoc @NuigSin @nuigalway

[Kate Warde, PhD @katewarde]

Big congrats @AoifeThornton2 our 8 years at NUIG have finally come to an end! 🥳🥂

So many people on Instagram openly flouting the restrictions over the past few days.

The sun being out on a Bank Holiday is not reason enough to break the restrictions and do as you please.

Incredibly frustrating for those of us who are haven’t seen our families in 11 weeks.

So, what is it like when you have to be tested for #COVID19 ?

For a walk-through of a Covid testing centre see the video below courtesy of the ambulance service

It’s a very impressive set up

Well done as always ⁦@AmbulanceNAS⁩ and the staff that will work here 👏
