Lest anyone accuse me of being anti test: write unit, integration and snapshot tests as appropriate. Do not be dogmatic. Best practices are for making your app better, not making others feel stupid in code review.

I'm celebrating my 5 years at Uber this week. When I started, I never thought I'd be here this long, but I've learned a ton, worked on many cool internal and open-source projects, and have gotten to work with incredible people.
