293 MPs block a Ceasefire, and only 125 less than half voted for it.
76% of the UK want a Ceasefire and a million people marched in London for it.
Parliament doesn't represent the people, UK democracy is a joke.
Never heard this fellow say Palestine has a right to defend “herself”. Never seen a gaggle of Western politicians in crisis over the ongoing daily decades-long Israeli assault on Palestine. Never heard one of them say what proportionate self-defence from Palestine might be.
And yet the Education Minister couldn’t name a single degree, cite a salary threshold or define a good job which would set the criteria for these “Mickey mouse degrees”.
There’s nothing more predictable in life than a contrarian. A joyless sausage machine churning out chunks of pale, flavourless gristle. “You like that thing, do you? Well I don’t. Didn’t see that coming, did you?”
Homeowners who took out big mortgages on low interest rates now facing crisis:
No bailout. Hold your nerve
Water companies who borrowed billions to give to shareholders now facing crisis:
Govt talks. Bailout incoming.
Rail has failed
Water has failed
Utilities have failed
Internet has failed
The UK is in a right mess because certain ideologues insist on privatising everything for the benefit of a few rich people, while everyone else suffers the consequences.
Since the water industry was privatised, the private water companies have extracted £57bn in profits, & now they're saying if we don't want sh*t into our rivers & seas our bills have to go up by 40%. The solution is nationalisation.
According to reports, Thames Water is about to go bust, and the govt is planning to use huge amounts of public money to bail them out.
Thames Water have dished out £1,600,000,000 to shareholders over the past 12 years - including £37.1m last year.
Privatisation is a TOTAL scam.
This is just obscene. And there is literally nothing said about it. These guys act with absolute impunity. It can’t be that the international community looks on like this.
How wages have faired.
MPs: Pay ⬆️ 22% in real terms since 2010
Bankers: Bonuses ⬆️ 101% in cash terms since 2008
CEOs: Pay ⬆️ 23% in 2022 alone
Teachers: Pay 🔻 24% since 2010
Nurses: Pay 🔻 20% since 2010
Whose wages are causing the inflation?
An old puce man, surrounded by many more old, puce, men. Explaining that his attempt at making life more miserable for migrants hasn't made his life better and that the reason is because we're not being horrible *enough.*
Frame it - this is the most 'England' picture you'll see.
