Not seeing ‘permanent underclass’ discourse on the TL as much these days. Did open source models create a vibe shift / inject optimism around the future of AI?
@championswimmer@ponnappa@mundhebanni The big question is - can you extract SOPs/tribal knowledge/definition of good work from the heads of people with expertise/taste/judgement, and use that to run self verification loops to scale QC
@championswimmer@ponnappa articulated this on @mundhebanni pod
Businesses are basically people producing artifacts, running Quality Control against SOPs - much like a factory. If you only scale artifact generation w AI, QC will still be a bottleneck.
@DadabhoyOmar Interesting q- the traditional ‘Lean’ definition of a startup is a temporary entity in search of a business model/PMF. once found, it’s no longer a startup (scaling up mode).
But given how fast AI evolves, companies need to find PMF every few months. Perpetual startups?
I had hacked CBSE's OSM (On-Screen Marking Portal) in February and had reported the vulnerabilities to CERT-In, but they were unable to patch most of them.
I've written a detailed blog post about it here: https://t.co/qyT23GkTEJ
Highly recommend “How to Rule the World.” It’s the social commentary book of the 'fake it till you make it' era. Written by the 17-year-old who brought down Stanford’s president, it shows how a toxic mix of power, money, and hubris has transformed the school and SV more broadly.
