@ma__linharess Every pro does something. Every single one. It’s the game within the game. From faux medical timeouts (Krejcikova) to being slow to set up for a return (Swiatek) plus 10-min bathroom breaks (Tsitsipas) the list is endless. Anything to change momentum.
Never going to change.
@ScoringChanges@Dbacks@Braves@TheWARmonger_ And that's why this part of baseball will also NEVER make any sense to those who follow the game. An error should be when a fielder makes a mistake on a play. In this case, the OF made an error on the ball...he misplayed it.
@ScoringChanges@Dbacks@Braves The rules might as well be OF’s never get errors and INF’s always get errors. That’s an error. He misplayed the ball that was a routine catch.
That is correct. And 95% of folks agree with that assessment whether you play fantasy sports or not.
@CraigMacCormack@mlbbowman I’d love to hear the reasoning as well. Chris Sale will now pitch on a full 7 days of rest, while Strider will be on the standard full 4 days of rest. That’s atypical. Does it come down to matchups? Or health? Or is trying to slow his pace down?
@Michellek4040 I agree with you. They were undefeated, won the conference and won the conference champ. I actually spoke with a committee member the following spring at a game and was told that FSU wasn’t even considered once they lost Travis.
That’s just wrong.
The velocity concerns everyone had about Zack Wheeler during his rehab work makes me think he just pulled a veteran move. He averaged 92.9 mph on his heater during his rehab, but K’d his first batter in MLB tonight at 96.5, and threw his final pitch at 94.7.
@tombrewsports@MLB@Dodgers But he’s also a hitter, and he hits essentially every day. I don’t think that’s the issue with Ohtani at all. The more relevant issue is that LAD is paying him $2 mill per year for the next 7 years, which allows them to pay other players. And on top of that, he gets no interest
