Did you see our team members in Penzance last night?
Although a lot of our searches are in rural locations, we can on occasion be tasked to search residential and commercial areas alongside @DC_Police colleagues.
So we build this into our training.
⚠️ Yellow Weather Warning ⚠️

There's a @metoffice weather warning issued today for snow and ice for much of East Cornwall.
📷 We've had reports from our team members that West Cornwall has also been effected.
Take care if venturing out.
There's also been a couple of weekends search dog training for Merryn and Matt on Dartmoor and in the Brecon Beacons. Thanks as always to the amazing volunteer ’dogsbodies’ for giving up your time!

Search Dog Merryn and her handler, Matt, headed to the northeast of England this weekend for a training course.
The long journey was worth it, with three days of knowledge building alongside colleagues from across the country.
Here’s a pic of Merryn making a find!
‘The dedication of our dogsbodies is always admirable. In rain or shine (and sometimes snow and gales) they hide away, waiting for our search dogs to find them.'
Matt and Merryn's thank you to our amazing @MRSearchDogsEng dogsbodies.
