Before I begin, I am a hardcore congressi by heart n blood. My grandfather served the navy when your great grand father n grand mother ruled.. There is no question where my loyalty lies.
But today, I am writing to you not as a supporter of any political party, but as a citizen making a heartfelt appeal and request with folded hands ...

As the Leader of the Opposition, I urge you to personally visit #SonamWangchuk . Please request him to end his fast. If anyone has the moral standing to persuade him, perhaps you do. Even if he refuses others, he may listen to you.
Please rise above calculations about votes or political advantage. Leadership is about doing what is right, not what is politically convenient. If you stand beside him, the country will see that you chose humanity over politics.
