@TennisonEddie @BowTiedBroke when i was traveling a lot for work and before i gave up on doing it myself and paid someone to do the pool, i found the switch over to salt convenient to not dump liquid chlorine in as much. amusingly, pool maint ignore the salt and use liquid chlorine anyway, cause its cheaper.

@TennisonEddie @BowTiedBroke Short answer is, no. Salt cells are ~400-600 dollars. they last upwards of 3-4 years. Benefits are they can be easier to maintain since its constantly delivering chlorine, without the issue triclor tablets can create since they add chlorine stabilizer, and salt doesnt.
