This is the greatest video I’ve ever seen. No notes. The lifeless clanker carcass just laying there. No crowd reaction, anything. Just Billie Jean. Until its lifeless shell is shamefully dragged off. Purely amazing.
i love the "its inevitable so why fight it" argument coming from rich older women who spend a lot of time and money fighting another supposedly inevitable thing
“The playful, zany energy and vivid character voices found in films like CABIN IN THE WOODS are electrified, in this script, with the indelible imagery and unexpected approach of BARBARIAN.”

What's most interesting to me is the language used, here and by many Tech Bros, re: AI.
"We have to..." "Don't be left behind..." "You're not keeping up..." "Going to make your life easier and better..." "You have to understand..." "We have to use it."
Patently ridiculous language.
No one "has to" use anything. Everyone is on their own path and no one is "being left behind" at any point.
Use of this type of language is nothing but an attempt to introduce fear and a lack of choice to you.
You have nothing to fear, and you have free will, always.
That is never not true. Never.
I don't recall any previous transformative technologies having to be sold so desperately. No one in 1999 was going, "Guys. Cell phone? It's coming, whether we like it or not. I think it's important, FOR WOMEN ESPECIALLY, to learn about cell phone. So that we're not left behind!!"
remember when celebrities seemingly randomly started coming out talking about how much they loved NFTs and thought it was super valuable and the future?
I love that Tangerine Dream has two kinds of album. One kind contains the silkiest, synthiest music you've ever heard in your life, and the other kind sounds like a conversation between the ghosts of many whales and birds.
