It's the hypocrisy that gets us. No one bats an eye when Israel commits crime after crime, taking more land and kidnapping Palestinian children in the middle of the night for throwing a rock at a tank. No one ever says a word about all of the war crimes Israel has committed - ever.
It's the hypocrisy we see that Israel can do whatever it wants and no one says a word, but if someone decides to fight back against all that has been taken from them - "shame on them! Terrorists!"
It's not a good thing what Hamas did. Killing innocent people is never right - but why the fuck doesn't anyone call out Israel when they constantly do it? How many IDF snipers have killed children? How IDF bombs have wiped out entire families? The fucked up thing is, all Israel has to say is "they were terrorists."
The Israeli government has dehumanized the Palestinian people to the point of their own leaders calling Palestinians "nothing but animals".
People keep saying that "Israel is the only democracy in the middle east."
