@SpireJim We all had to cut off our hair in primary school, except for the half caste (Ugandan & Indian), cos they (‘bazungu) were ‘supposed’ to have long hair
Construction of public roads is not the work of an Mp neither is it work of a private person. That actually tantamounts to corrupting the public to vote for you.
A private person has no legal mandate to construct public roads unless when given a contract by government.
The reason why public servants and politicians are corrupt is because they use personal resources to do government work.
Let's stop normalising corruption.
Isn’t it ironical, the dictator’s daughter masquerading as a pastor, invoking the name of Jesus while mocking Christianity itself.
Your family presides over a state of terror. Your father has turned our country into a living hell-forcing citizens into exile, jailing political opponents, and ruling through fear. Your brother tortures and kills innocent people for fun-on this very same platform. And you yourself recently convened bloggers and online influencers, bribing them with 5 billions Ugx of taxpayers’ money to white wash your family’s crimes with lies and propaganda.
No wonder you covered your eyes while invoking Jesus’ name, shame has a way of revealing itself.
If you truly wish to speak as a Christian, then speak the truth. And if you cannot tell the truth, then stop using faith as a costume to mask injustice.
A few days ago, I went to Kitalya after many requests from Yasin Ssekitoleko to see me. He wanted to seek my advice on whether he should plead guilty and leave prison as he’s still being coerced by the state. He said, “madam Agather tukooye ekommera. Emyaaka tugenda mumukaaga. Banange tukooye atte nga teli suubi nti tulifuna obwenkanya okuva mu court..” I told him no one would blame him or his 9 colleagues for doing that. The @JudiciaryUG has failed them, like it has many other Ugandans. Maybe we have also failed them for not doing more to demand for their rights and the rights of all the other citizens that have been disappeared, murdered, arbitrarily detained, tortured, etc. he asked me to tell you about this conversation.
