I am thinking about launching a new product quite soon. Double subtitles for Netflix for grammar annotation for language learning on the fly.

The existing solutions in the Chrome extension marketplace look somewhat fishy to an extent of bad reviews and not beeing transparent.

Would you be interested in using something like this?

I guess for many people it's convince. There are so many models and platforms out there to date, and they all differ slightly and excel and different use-cases. For me however, OpenAI remains my go-to-solution for everything. From ChatGPT to LLM-API. Not because it's the best, but simply because it is convenient and good enough in comparison on all my tasks.

You basically destroyed my sorc build with this patch. I just got the hang of it and from one day to another I can not even clear white mobs anymore?

I don't think that freeze comet was broken in the way you implemented it, since you had to go through the passive tree in order to make it work. This is my understanding of the game, skill in a way to make you better and deliver on it. You could have just removed spell echo from cast on freeze and the OP-ness would have been gone, while still maintaining the fun of the build.

What exactly is the reason to delete a nice build? I mean, why do you even have the nodes in the passive tree, to make exactly this kind of build work?

I can not get my head around this act of patching. It's so frustrating, even with a full respec. I know in E/A, but deleting builds is like deleting content for the most part. Leave the flexibility to the players, or why even bother making a skill tree this flexible and huge?

I have not played POE1, but I really thought the concept of full freedom was nice. Well, not so much anymore.

I don't know, man. It's not like you can acquire a solid working business for under 1k, so you have to add value to the product anyway.

The downside of buying an app for a couple of dollars, is most likely poor documentation, outdated dependencies and a long list of problems occurring down the line, even if the base product might sell to a couple of users.

My advice for everyone trying to get into the space, try to learn the basis first and start slow. In the end, it's your product and your journey. You are responsible for everything you ship, so please do not ship shit.
