It was a pleasure to sit down with Ontario’s Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, Stephen Crawford @stcrawford2 with members of his team, alongside our President and COO, Steve Holdridge and fellow Daymakers.

Dayforce has deep Canadian roots.  We were built and grown here in Ontario, and today thousands of Daymakers call this province home. As a global company, Ontario remains an important part of who we are and our story.  My family arrived here decades ago and I’m proud to call Ontario home.

We had a great discussion about Ontario’s economic future and how technology, innovation, and AI can help organizations become more productive, how we can create the conditions for businesses to invest and grow, and how government and industry can work together to unlock new opportunities.

I’m proud of what Dayforce has built in Ontario, and even more energized by what’s possible ahead.  Thank you, Minister Crawford, for the thoughtful conversation and for spending time with our team.

Shrinking workforce complexity with Dayforce AI so that you can do the work you are meant to do!

Today marks an important moment for Dayforce as we become a private company with Thoma Bravo—doubling down on customer value, accelerating innovation, and empowering our Dayforce community to do the work they’re meant to do.

Grateful to our Daymakers, customers, and partners for being part of the journey. #makesworklifebetter

It was a privilege to welcome Minister Shafqat Ali, President of the Treasury Board, to our Toronto offices today to provide an update on our Pay and HR project with the Government of Canada. We are proud to be partnering with Canada to Make Work Life Better for our Federal Public Servants. We also appreciate the time he took to speak directly with our employees. Thank you for joining us.

Visited Dayforce in Toronto. They’re advancing technologies that improve HR management and simplify processes and efficiency, including for Canada’s public service.

Canada’s new government is investing in the future of HR, taking important steps to modernize pay systems, improving efficiency and productivity so that public service employees have the tools and support they need.

Thank you for the tour.

Like so many around the world, Im heartbroken by the tragic events at Bondi Beach. Violence, hate and antisemitism have no place in our communities. I stand with the victims, their loved ones, and the broader Australian and Jewish communities, and offer my deepest sympathies during this time of sorrow.

Love seeing Dayforce recognized as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2026!
