#Stoicism means not getting so uptight about things. You can have political opinions without being rigidly fused with them and getting your knickers in a twist just because others happens to disagree. Learning to tolerate disagreement is, in a sense, the beginning of wisdom.

Let's talk about depression. It's a very difficult problem to treat successfully. Outcomes, on average, are okay but not great. But there are simple things that seem to help a lot of depressed people. One is being able to spot the thinking biases that go with depressed mood.
