Thanks to this post I have just learned of a weird trend that whenever an Asian soccer player lifts a trophy (or given a medal), the feed cuts away from them?!?

Has happened multiple times in multiple leagues (specifically England) and happened again in the UCL last night. Has been going on for years.

Today I met a tow truck driver who reminded me what real discipline looks like.

He used to drive trailers. Long journeys, long nights, sometimes only seeing his family once every 1–2 weeks.

When he wanted to start his own tow service, he told me he couldn’t even get a business loan.

No guarantor. No collateral.

So he took a personal loan instead. Higher interest, bigger risk and bought his first truck.

For five years, he paid every instalment on time.

He told me he only studied until Form 4, then continued at IKM.

No shortcuts. No special background. Just hard work and being responsible.

4 years later, he has upgraded to a better truck with automatic loading. He chooses his own hours now. Still tough, but on his terms.

He told me:

“Dalam bisnes, kena jujur.” (In business, you must be honest.)

“Jangan dengki.” (Don’t be envious.)

“Orang lain mungkin dah ada 7 lori. Itu rezeki dia. Rezeki kita lain.”

(Others may already have 7 trucks. That’s their blessing. Ours is different.)

Small steps. Slow growth. Honest work.

That’s how he did it and how most real dreams are built.

Activist Okey Vitalis Nnorom who joined the Omar AlMokhtar Flotilla sailing alongside the Global Sumud Flotilla, remains in detention, despite earlier false reports claiming he was handed over to the Nigerian embassy in Jordan. The occupation authorities deliberately obfuscated information and misled lawyers about the detainees’ status.

Supporters are called on to contact their local Nigerian embassy and the Nigerian government to demand Michael’s immediate release.

The ‘Conscience’ volunteers have been attacked and likely abducted by Israeli forces while in international waters on their way to open a sea corridor to Gaza. These are some of the volunteers from Türkiye.

The flotilla was sailing in accordance with international law, outside Israeli jurisdiction. I condemn in the strongest terms Israel’s interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla. These vessels carried unarmed civilians and life-saving humanitarian supplies for Gaza, yet they were met with intimidation and coercion.

By blocking a humanitarian mission, Israel has shown utter contempt not only for the rights of the Palestinian people but also for the conscience of the world. The flotilla embodied solidarity, compassion and the hope of relief for those under blockade.

Malaysia will use all legitimate and lawful means at our disposal to ensure that Israel is held to account, especially in matters concerning Malaysian citizens. The safety and dignity of our people are paramount, and we will not allow them to be compromised with impunity.

As long as the Palestinian people are denied their fundamental rights and aspirations, Malaysia will stand unflinchingly with them. We will not relent in demanding an end to the injustice and dispossession that have plagued Palestine for generations.
