@MsRade92 these are some of the visuals i've managed to find that show how it presents - it can be much less obvious and easier to overlook. please be safe everyone <3
Treating healthcare like Amazon, a cautionary tale:
An 80+ yr old female on LT4 comes with her son to discuss her dose. Recent TSH was normal. Keen for a ⬆️ dose.
Son presents a sheet of symptoms from a thyroid charity. ⬆️ dose demanded.

@ed_itu “Take it from work” because it’s expensive to buy is not something anyone should really be doing-most Trusts have policies against this!
Did u not carry dressing packs which were prescribed on discharge because u didn’t want to carry it on the tube & expected GP to prescribe? 1/n
Daughter’s friend waited hours in A&E for an earring stuck in her ear. They couldn’t help so referred her to ENT 5 days later. So she came to my pharmacy & in minutes, earring removed safely, pain gone without delays. Reduce pressure on #NHS. This is what pharmacy can do!
Mine is clinical:
As an F1 we had a major haemorrhage on the ward
Grabbed the first computer I saw to put in a request for urgent blood products, whilst calling the lab
Senior nurse who sees what is going on, PULLS MY CARD out of the computer, logging me off as I’m giving patient details to lab, proceeds to shout ‘THIS IS A NURSE COMPUTER’
I proceeded to tell her I’d be reporting her for dangerously delaying a major haemorrhage protocol
These people should be nowhere near hospitals
We really have a whole era of men that don't want to protect and provide. You want women to work, cook, clean up, watch the kids and pay half the bills. As a man, you should be pouring into your woman but instead you got her running on empty because you want to be a princess.
