Lawyer/Avocat (Canada & United States). J’aide les gens à immigrer au Canada et aux États-Unis. I help people immigrate to Canada or the United States.
@Jean_Gilbert_D@olivier_primeau Mauvaise analogie. La Floride (où j’habite) a en effet des péages sur certains autoroutes. Mais la Floride a aussi un taux d’impôt sur le revenu “provincial” de… 0%.
@ryangerritsen@jhamel TN is a 🇨🇦🇺🇸 joint program. The reason why more Canadians use it to work in the US compared to Americans using it to work in Canada = US is a better place to advance one’s career. You want to change that reality? Make Canada more attractive for highly educated professionals. 🤷
@SethMcKinzie@wjeffpetty Very true. When you learn to catch a grounder on a shitty natural field, your survival instinct makes you a decent fielder in a hurry… 😂
@wjeffpetty Yeah so dumb.I don’t see how an entire team having a 98% success rate stealing bags teaches anything to anyone. It also prevents kids to practice a fundamental baseball play: double plays. The stolen base has become obsolete in today’s game where the double play hasn’t. So dumb.
@drmikehart Agreed. My wife is always impressed at how quickly I make true friends all over the world through team sports (hockey, baseball). I’m a Canadian living/playing baseball in the US and my bastard teammates gave me #51 on my jersey in reference to the 51st state. 😂😂
@ashkan@Montreal_Expos Every team’s strategy is to draft prospects. Not even about ticket sales. If CH is losing money for RDS and others, imagine Expos. Montreal can’t compete with billions and baseball passion of US markets. Expos will never be back. I hate writing that but it’s painfully obvious.
@cbctom Province of Quebec = one of the poorest jurisdictions in North America. I’m guessing not many local corporate partners can afford the Toronto/US ad pricing especially in the current economy. To keep in mind: Province that lost the Quebec Nordiques and the Montreal Expos.
@BillboardChris@ServusDeiVivi Canadian living in Florida here. Health insurance/costs over the last 4 years: about US$12,000/year for a family of 5. That’s a fraction of what my wife and I save in income tax payments (federal + FL = 25%). Florida quality of care + waiting times: 10x better than Canada 🤷

@ashkan@Montreal_Expos@MLB@WatchMojo In 2014, I proposed an immigrant-investor solution to finance a stadium in downtown Mtl. Claude Brochu and Denis Coderre supported the idea. $0 from taxpayers. $0 from the owners. Would be happy to talk.
