🚨Potential exploit in LayerZero token distribution🚨

I'm writing to bring to your attention a potential Stargate exploit in the token distribution process.

I've identified a wallet that has made 4 transactions and has received 564 tokens. According to Dune Analytics (https://t.co/Ra8XaPzrS1) this wallet has spent $1665 in fees. However, I believe this is inaccurate.

Abuse:
I've further investigated this wallet using the rewind tool and discovered that the user was abusing the "Gas on destination" feature.

They were entering amounts of 0.1-0.3 ETH, which the system was incorrectly counting as gas fees. This inflated their reported gas expenses and resulted in an unfair increase in their token allocation.

I believe there may be other wallets using this same exploit. I suggest reviewing these cases and considering increasing the allocation for other users who have not engaged in this behavior.

Do you think $ZK airdrop was unfair?

I discovered that one ZkSync developer has 47 wallets and received 660,369 tokens, all wallets connected through Disperse contract.
0.05 ETH was dispersed on 550 wallets.

Why do I believe these wallets belong to one zkSync developer?

1.The wallet owner received allocations for contributions to notable GitHub repositories multiple times.
2.He also received allocations for contributions to the zkSync Community Hub on GitHub.
3.Additionally, they received allocations for holding a POAP from in-person zkSync events.
4.The wallet owner knew exactly what needed to be done and did not care about the connections between wallets. They dispersed ETH on the mainnet before starting farming and waited 150 days to activate the wallets 30 days before the snapshot.

- I do not want to doxing dev, and don't care about his allocations.
- I have allocation from ZKsync and I'm ok.

Almost all small normies get $0 for 2 years of activity and spent from $10 - $300 tx fee for nothing

Is it fair for them? I do not think so.

It would be nice to have reaction from @zksync or @TheZKNation.

🚨Today the @zksync team announced an airdrop distribution and a story about what exactly this distribution will be for.

✅ Criteria:
📍You are an active user and hold liquidity in some projects (pools, lendigs)
📍Your wallet has been active on the ZkSync Era network for more than 3 months

☑️ There are also additional multipliers that increase the distribution:

🔵 Interaction with 10 smart contracts
🔵 5 or more transactions in Paymaster
🔵 Trade 10 or more tokens in ZkSync
🔵 Be a holder of Omnibus NFT
🔵 Donations to Gitcoin (zkSync Lite)
🔵 Transactions on the Ethereum main network

‼️ And all this seems normal, but I have one important question: why are users who fully meet this criterion ultimately not eligible to receive awards?

I'm just sure that the ZkSync team made a mistake during the distribution and many eligible users end up with an "not eligible" status.

🫂I speak for the majority of your community, your real users, and I ask you to at least give people the opportunity to appeal. You simply have to look at many wallets. They clearly deserve awards and it is not clear why their wallets are not eligible for an award when they meet absolutely all the requirements and criteria.

‼️I ask you to describe in more detail the criteria for receiving awards, so that everyone can understand why he is not worthy of receiving them. Because so far it all looks like those who have suffered are those who fully meet all the requirements.

⛔️I believe that you are not another @Starknet or @PolyhedraZK who treated their community like garbage and as a result are now receiving a response from their community. I will never use Starknet again and recommend everyone to do the same.

🤚Personally, I have always considered ZkSync one of those projects that can replicate the guys from @arbitrum , which everyone loves and always remembers with warmth. I would be very upset if Twitter was littered with hashtags #zksyncscam or #zkscam and I hope that doesn't happen. No one will judge you if you make strict criteria and someone doesn't pass them. But the community will not be able to forgive the fact that many of the people fit all the criteria that you described, but in the end they will not receive the drop. I tried to explain in as much detail as possible the problem that exists now.
