The person you will be in 5 years depends on:
β’ the food you eat
β’ amount of exercise you do

β’ who you work with
β’ friends you spend time with

I think the discourse for media buyers that come to DTC Twitter has never been more confusing than now.
Just way too many tweets flying about doing this and doing that. I really don't envy younger media buyers / growth teams looking here for answers.
From bidding strategies, to creative choices, to landing page options, to budgets, to ad set-ups. It's full of answers.
Couple that with an influx in sponsored DTC dinners that are not disclosed pushing SaaS or other tools on people.
I'm not here to say you can't attend DTC dinners or listen to everyone, but you must be very mindful that everything has a disclaimer, it depends.
My promise to you, and maybe makes me a bit unpopular in the DTC space is I'm not sharing tactics. Because there is just too much white space and nuisance. I'm not sharing with you the brands I run, some of which would make some contribution margin nerds drool over because no two businesses are alike.
I don't get invited to DTC dinners, conferences, or speaking engagements (except Geekout cause @iamshackelford and I are bffs and I love that man to death). I have nothing to sell you. I'm not looking for work. I'm not looking for consulting gigs. I'm here to have conversations.
I share this as I get back into work again tweeting after a 10 day vacation that was MUCH needed to get my head ready for the busiest time of year.
I'm ALWAYS here to answer Qs from my perspective, never hesitate to ask! Just wanted to tweet this out to those who are younger that this channel is meant to be a two-way communication with you, a younger buyer looking for advice.
